Let’s define your brief

The closer we define the edges of what you want from your product photos, the better your final collection.

It doesn’t have to be complicated but it does help to clarify the following:

  • What you like

  • What you dislike (often overlooked)

  • Best product features

  • Least exciting elements

  • Unique selling points over your competition

  • How the images link with your brand

  • Exactly how the images will be used

The more we decide in advance the more usable images we’ll have in our collection. And over time, shoot after shoot, we’ll create a practical library of gorgeous product photos.

Using product photos for social media

Because our brief was clear our final product photo collection is just a matter of creating the social media posts using the images we shot.

In this case, we have created a website homepage, four Facebook socials and three Instagram posts.

And there are plenty more options for social posts to create an ongoing advertising campaign with a variety of messages which can be tested for effectiveness.
