Refreshing your product photo library
As times go by our business image library can become out-dated. Maybe what’s trending on social media has changed or your brand needs to evolve. If that’s the case we can help you create new photography content for your business.
Here are some reasons to update your product photography library even if your product hasn’t changed:
Your branding has changed, either visually or strategically. You may be targeting a different audience, communicating new messages or have a new visual direction.
Social media trends make your brand appear tired or like you’re not keeping up with the times.
Same images on repeat appear in your marketing for so long they start to look like wall paper and stop being noticed.
Your actual product doesn’t change over time. Like the soaps in this blog post, your product offering remains the same so how you promote it becomes the key to making sales.
You want to reach a wider audience and need more material to capture buyer attention and test which photos work best for conversions.
Existing photos fall short of capturing all the features, benefits or competitive messages you know you can convert into sales.
Sometimes you just have a gut feeling that the collection of product images you have isn’t working any more. So if you struggle to pull together new social posts that make you excited and get a response, then it’s probably time to refresh your product photo library.
Final Collection from our Product Photo Shoot
The brief was to create a hero image of each soap fragrance. Each product photo had to work as a stand-alone image plus as a cohesive collection that reflects the brand. We used bold colours for visual impact and various elements such as lighting and props to reflect the essence of each product.
Negative space appears within the photos to leave room for copy on social media, at point of sale and other marketing material.
Social media content creation
Animated social media content gets more attention, and we can easily turn your stills photographs into moving social posts without having to shoot video content. This saves you time, money and makes the photos really versatile.
Reels and animated social media content
1:1 animated social media posts that grabs the viewer’s attention so they’re more likely to read your post description.
A visual way of guiding your viewers to remember typing your product name into their search engine.
Using visual aids such as the moving water in the background to create motion in your social media posts.
Promoting your entire product range in one post.
Keeping your content varied between stills photos and animated social posts.
Social media tiles
Re-usable and repeatable product photography and graphics across all social platforms, easily resized for different formats.
